What our 24-month warranty does — and does not — cover

A plain-language version of the warranty: what is covered, the exclusions we will actually enforce, and what happens when you make a claim.

Warranty pages are written by lawyers. This is the version we would tell you across a counter. The formal warranty page is what applies if the two ever disagree.

Covered, 24 months from delivery

  • The movement stops, or runs outside the accuracy we state (±10 s/day automatic, ±15 s/month quartz) after we have regulated it.
  • Crown, pushers, or clasp stop working.
  • Moisture under the crystal, provided the case has not been opened and the water rating was respected.
  • Hands, indices or the date disc come loose.
  • Lume, dial print or coating flaking off on its own.

Not covered, and we do check

  • Scratches, dents, scuffs and worn straps. These are wear, not defects, and a steel watch will pick them up in the first month.
  • Damage from a drop or knock. A cracked crystal after a fall is not a defect.
  • Water damage from hot showers, an unscrewed crown, or use beyond the rating.
  • Batteries after the first 12 months.
  • Anything after the case has been opened by someone other than us or an authorised watchmaker.

How a claim works

  1. Email support@goshopcara.com with your order number, a description, and a photo or short video. We reply within one business day.
  2. If it sounds covered, we send a prepaid label. You post the watch in its box inside another box.
  3. We inspect within 5 business days of receiving it. Most covered faults are repaired; if we cannot repair it we replace it with the same model, and if that model is gone we refund you in full.
  4. Return shipping to you is on us. Repaired watches keep the remainder of the original warranty.

What if it is not covered?

We will tell you plainly, quote a repair price if we can do it, and return the watch either way at no charge. No one is ever billed without agreeing first.

A note on the first 7 days

If a watch arrives faulty, do not wait for the warranty. Report it within 7 days of delivery with your unboxing video under our refund and returns policy; it is faster, and we re-ship a replacement at no cost.
