You can cancel an order at no cost at any point before it is handed to FedEx. After that it becomes a return instead, still refundable, just with a parcel to send back.
#The one thing that decides everything
There is a single moment that changes what happens: when the parcel is scanned by FedEx. Before that scan we can stop the order in the warehouse. After it, nobody can, not us, and not FedEx, because an insured high-value parcel cannot be recalled or redirected in transit.
#Cancelling before dispatch
What to do, and what we do
- Step 1Right now
Email us
Send your order number to support@goshopcara.com with “cancel” in the subject line. The subject line matters: it is what moves your message to the front of the queue.
- Step 2Within 1 business day
We check the warehouse
We confirm whether the parcel has been handed over. If it has not, the order is pulled immediately.
- Step 3Same day we confirm
You are refunded in full
The whole amount, watch, shipping and tax. Nothing is deducted and no reason is required.
- Step 45-10 business days
Your bank posts it
We release the refund the day we cancel. The wait after that is your bank’s processing time, not ours.
We confirm by email either way, including when we are too late, you are never left guessing whether it worked.
#After it has been dispatched
Once the parcel is with FedEx the order can no longer be cancelled, but you are not stuck with it. You have two routes, and one is meaningfully better than the other.
Better: accept it, then return it
- You control when it goes back and with which service
- You can check the watch is what you ordered before deciding
- The full 30-day return window applies
- If it is faulty or wrong, we pay the return postage
Worse: refuse the delivery
- The parcel travels back on the carrier’s schedule, not yours
- Refused parcels can sit in a depot for days before returning
- The original shipping cost is not refunded
- You never get to see what you were sent
Both routes end with a refund. Accepting is faster and less likely to go wrong, which is why we recommend it.
The full terms are in the Refund & Returns Policy: 30 days from delivery, watch unworn and complete, stickers intact.
#Changing an order instead of cancelling
Some things we can change before dispatch without cancelling anything. Email us and ask, the answer is often yes.
We can usually change
- The delivery address, before the parcel is collected
- The shipping speed, if an alternative is available
- A typo in your name or contact details
- Adding a gift note
We cannot change
- The watch itself, cancel and reorder instead
- Anything at all once FedEx has collected it
- The payment method used for the original charge
- The currency, all orders are in USD
#Orders we cancel ourselves
Occasionally we are the ones who cancel. It is uncommon, and when it happens you are told why rather than left to notice.
Reasons we cancel
- The watch turns out to be damaged or not as described in stock
- A pricing error that is obviously wrong, not merely generous
- Our payment processor flags the transaction for review
- The delivery address cannot accept an insured parcel
What we never do
- Part-ship an order and charge you for the rest
- Substitute a different watch without asking you first
- Cancel without telling you the reason
- Keep any part of your money
#Questions
Email support@goshopcara.com with your order number. A person replies within one business day, Monday to Friday. If you are trying to stop an order going out, put “cancel” in the subject line and send it now rather than waiting for office hours, the timestamp is what counts.
