Everything we sell is shipped by FedEx, fully insured, with tracking, to addresses in the United States. This page tells you exactly what that costs, exactly how long it takes, and exactly what happens if something goes wrong.
#How long it takes
Two separate clocks run between your payment and your doorstep, and confusing them is the most common reason people think an order is late. The first is our preparation time. The second is FedEx’s transit time. They run one after the other, not at the same time.
What happens to your order, step by step
- Step 1Day 0
You place the order
Payment is authorised and the specific watch is pulled from stock and reserved against your name.
- Step 2Day 1-3
We inspect it
We check the reference against your order, wind and time-set it, confirm it is running inside tolerance, and check the case, crystal and bracelet for transit damage. This is the step that takes the days, and it is the reason we do not dispatch within the hour.
- Step 3Day 1-3
We pack it
The watch goes in its manufacturer’s box, then into an unbranded outer carton. Nothing on the outside says what is inside.
- Step 4Day 1-3
FedEx collects it
Your tracking number is emailed the same evening the parcel is scanned.
- Step 5After dispatch
In transit
Continental US is usually 2-4 business days. Alaska, Hawaii and the US territories are at the far end of the range.
- Step 6On arrival
Delivered
Signature is not required by default. If nobody is home FedEx will normally leave it or reattempt the next business day.
You get an email at step 1 and step 4. If you have not had the dispatch email by the fourth business day, something is wrong, tell us.
#What shipping costs
One shipping charge per order, regardless of how many watches are in it. The figure below is the whole cost: there is no handling fee, no insurance surcharge, no fuel levy and no customs bill waiting for you at the door.
The two rates, in full
The threshold is measured on the merchandise subtotal after any discount and before tax. If a coupon drops your subtotal below $800, the $50 charge returns, the checkout shows this before you pay, never after.
#Where we ship
We deliver to the United States only, all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, plus Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands and the other US territories. We do not ship anywhere else at present, and we cannot make an exception by arrangement.
We deliver to
- All 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii

We cannot deliver to

#Where your order ships from
Two addresses are involved in this business and they do different jobs. Sending something to the wrong one is the single most expensive mistake you can make on this site, so both are set out plainly.

Correspondence and legal notices only. This office does not receive parcels.
#Tracking your parcel
A FedEx tracking number is emailed to you as soon as the carrier scans the parcel, which is usually the evening of the day it leaves us. It is also shown against the order in your account.
When tracking does not look right
The tracking number does not work yet
Allow 24 hours from the dispatch email. Until FedEx completes the first hub scan, the number exists but has nothing attached to it.
Tracking has not moved for two days
Normal in transit. Scans happen at hub handovers, not continuously, and a parcel can sit on a truck between two scans for 48 hours without anything being wrong.
Nothing has moved for seven business days
Not normal. Email support@goshopcara.com with your order number and we will open a formal trace with FedEx that day.
It says delivered but nothing is here
Check the porch, side door, mailroom, building reception and with immediate neighbours first, as the large majority turn up. If it has not appeared within 24 hours, tell us, see below.
#If something goes wrong
Every parcel we send is insured for its full value. You are not the one who carries the risk while a watch is in transit, we are. What we need from you is to tell us quickly, because the carrier claim windows are not generous.
Damaged, lost or missing, what to do
- Step 1Immediately
Do not unpack it further
If the outer carton is crushed, torn or opened, photograph it before you open it. If you have already opened it, photograph the watch and all the packaging exactly as it is.
- Step 2Within 7 days of delivery
Email us
Send the photographs, your order number and a one-line description to support@goshopcara.com. Seven days is the deadline for a damage or non-receipt report.
- Step 3Within 1 business day
We respond
We tell you whether it is a replacement, a refund or a carrier trace, and we pay the return postage. You are never asked to fund a mistake that is ours.
- Step 4Up to 10 business days
Claim resolved
Carrier traces for a parcel marked delivered take up to 10 business days. We keep you updated and you get the replacement or full refund either way.
#Getting the address right
We ship to the address exactly as you type it at checkout. Please read it once more before you pay, this is the one part of the process we cannot fix for you afterwards.
Worth thirty seconds before you pay
Once FedEx has collected the parcel we cannot redirect, recall or reroute it. That is a carrier restriction on insured high-value goods, not a policy of ours.
#Questions
Email support@goshopcara.com with your order number. A person replies within one business day, Monday to Friday. If your question is about a parcel that is already late or already damaged, say so in the subject line and we will move it to the front.
