1. Warranty Overview

This Warranty Policy explains how Signature Watches reviews warranty and defect issues for watches sold to

customers in the United States and shipped from Hong Kong. Unless a product page states a separate

written warranty, warranty support is limited to verified manufacturer defects.

A manufacturer defect is a fault caused by production, assembly, or factory workmanship. It does not

include damage caused by customer use, wear, accident, water, resizing, third-party service, modification,

improper storage, or normal aging.

2. Relationship to Return and Refund Policy

Warranty review is separate from automatic return eligibility. Our Return and Refund Policy limits returns

to approved manufacturer defects only. A warranty claim, support email, or inspection request does not

automatically create a right to return, refund, exchange, or repair. Every request must be reviewed and

approved.

3. What May Be Covered

  • A movement issue caused by a verified manufacturing fault and not by impact, magnetization, battery

depletion from ordinary use, or unauthorized service.

  • A crown, stem, clasp, pusher, bracelet component, screw, or case component that fails because of a

production or assembly fault.

  • A dial, marker, hand, crystal, bezel, or case issue that existed on arrival and is confirmed as a

manufacturing issue.

  • A functional defect that is reproducible during inspection and consistent with factory defect conditions.

4. What Is Not Covered

  • Scratches, dents, scuffs, marks, fading, patina, strap creasing, bracelet stretch, cosmetic wear, or

normal signs of use.

  • Damage from dropping, impact, shock, crushing, bending, pressure, accident, improper handling, or

improper storage.

  • Water, moisture, humidity, steam, sauna, hot water, soap, perfume, chemicals, saltwater, or

open-crown exposure unless expressly covered in writing and confirmed by inspection.

  • Battery replacement, normal battery depletion, accuracy variation within expected tolerance, or

maintenance needs caused by ordinary use.

  • Damage from bracelet sizing, link removal, screw stripping, pin bending, polishing, third-party repair,

case opening, or unauthorized service.

  • Issues caused by magnets, extreme temperature, incorrect winding, incorrect date setting, improper

crown use, or failure to follow product care instructions.

  • Loss of boxes, tags, cards, manuals, spare links, certificates, or accessories after delivery.

5. Water Resistance

Water resistance is not permanent and depends on the condition of gaskets, crown, crystal, case back,

pushers, service history, and handling. Even if a watch is described as water resistant, water resistance

can be affected by age, impact, temperature change, chemicals, crown position, or improper service.

Unless the product page expressly states water resistance specifications and inspection confirms a

covered manufacturing issue within those specifications, water or moisture damage is not covered.

6. How to Submit a Warranty or Defect Claim

  • Email SP@VIP.com with the subject line: Warranty Claim – [Order Number].
  • Include the order number, full name, email used at checkout, delivery ZIP code, and product model.
  • Describe the issue clearly, including when it started and whether the watch has been worn, sized,

opened, serviced, dropped, or exposed to water.

  • Provide clear photos of the watch, the issue, the case back, the crown area, the clasp or bracelet if

relevant, and all included materials.

  • Provide a short video showing any functional issue, such as movement failure, crown failure, clasp

issue, hand issue, or pusher problem.

7. Inspection and Review

We may request additional information before deciding whether inspection is appropriate. If the claim

appears eligible, we may provide instructions for return inspection. Do not ship the product without written

authorization. Unauthorized shipments may be refused or returned to sender.

Inspection may include visual review, functional testing, review of customer evidence, verification of serial

or model details, review of packaging, and evaluation of whether the issue is consistent with a

manufacturer defect. If inspection shows misuse, wear, alteration, impact, water exposure, third-party

service, or another excluded cause, the claim may be denied.

8. Available Remedies

If a warranty or manufacturer defect claim is approved, we may offer repair, replacement, exchange, store

credit, or refund depending on the product, defect, inventory, repair practicality, and applicable policy. We

decide the appropriate remedy after review unless applicable law requires a different remedy.

9. Shipping for Warranty Review

If return inspection is authorized, we will provide shipping instructions. The customer must package the

watch securely, include all requested materials, and use the approved shipping method. Damage caused

by poor return packaging may reduce or eliminate available remedies.

10. No Unauthorized Repair Reimbursement

We do not reimburse third-party repair, sizing, diagnostic, polishing, replacement, or service costs unless

we approve the service in writing before the work is performed. Unauthorized repair or case opening may

make inspection impossible and may void warranty review.
